Kibo and Opal
Breeding planned for early 2019. News flash! Opal is now in season! plans are underway for this litter, which if all goes as planned, will be whelped late March, 2019. Pilot has done some impressive winning already in 2019, and so has Opal, being awarded Select Bitch on Friday, Jan 4th at the Inland Empire Hound Show in Indio, CA. Opal is only 4 points away from her Grand CH. 3/19/2019 - Opal has been bred and is in whelp. We ended up doing a dual-sire litter with Pilot and also Kibo, our Italian import! Puppies are due March 26-30. Opal’s puppies were born March 29th. She has 6 boys, 2 girls. 2 Tri spotted boys, 1 tri spotted girl, one sable spotted girl, 2 black and tan self boys, 1 black and brindle self boy, and 1 sable and brindle self boy. DNA samples have been sent off to determine the sire(s). DNA is back, and we know for sure the sire is our Italian import, Kibo!

Anne Quinn of Summerlane Borzoi has graciously allowed us to lease Opal for an upcoming litter. Opal won a group 4 on the way to her CH and only needs 4 points for her GCH. Kibo finished his AKC CH at 11 months of age with multiple wins over specials, a group placement and 2 specialty Best in Sweepstakes.
